April Fool's Day FOOD
For some reason, we never really celebrated April Fool's Day until a few years ago. Now we're having the best time with our "funny food."
This year, I'm serving "sundaes" for dinner....
Kiddo is going to be so disappointed when he realizes we are not having ice cream for dinner, but that it is, in fact, mashed potatoes and gravy.
{To make things super easy, we're using instant mashed potatoes and jarred gravy. I know, I know...not the healthiest, but I won't tell if you won't.}
And how cute is that "cherry?" I was SO excited to find that jar of Peppadew peppers at the grocery store! I might have squealed.

Simple Pages in a Flash for a Multi Scrap Page Event
Today I want to share the idea of using simple layouts to help you deal with a multi-page scrapping event. As part of my 50th birthday celebration last year we went to the Aiken Spring Steeplechase on my actual birthday. After the Steeplechase we had friends over for a party picnic/party with games. It was a wonderful birthday! But scrapping the day took many pages. I had the elements of the Steeplechase as well as outdoor and inside photos from the evening. I had previously scrapped four pages of of the evening party, but I had not yet attempted to scrap the Steeplechase.
I began by dividing the photos and memorabilia into categories: Intro, family and friends, carriage parade, and Steeplechasing. I combined the memorabilia with two photobooth looking photo strips and a photo of a single horse and rider. I used two coordinating pieces of black and white print cardstock, white cardstock matting, and a white pen for doodling and created the first two pages.
Above, I had saved an extra copy of the invitations we sent to family and friends to join us at the Steeplechase, matted it on white cardstock, and combined with the photo strips to create an intro page.
Page two includes my admission badge from the event, the actual event program, a single rider photo, and bit of ribbon and a cardstock sticker. Easy peasy yet nice looking. The print cardstock was a great touch.
Pages three and four contain five of my favorite photos from the many taken during the carriage parade. HINT: Do not feel like you MUST use every photo. You can select photos to represent the event/location (I chose my favorite of the Grand Canyon too, and did not scrap all 70+ photos). The largest of the photos is a 5x7, three are 4x6's, and the smaller photo is 2.5x6 inches.
I chose a simple black cardstock background and cut a single sheet of traditional equestrian looking plaid paper in half to decorate the page. I chose a pale yellow color from the plaid and matted the five photos on yellow. I added chipboard brackets and a chipboard sticker, along with layered flowers. Again, simple and easy - let the focus be on the photos.
Pages five and six were the easiest. I had enlarges some of my photos to show details of the event. I had four photos - an 8x10, a 5x7, a 10x4, and a 4x6. I matted the photos on white and light blue cardstock. The 8x10 and a title fill the first page - with a "take the jump" sticker.
Page six is a bit crowded, but I did not want to spread the "Chasing" photos over another two pages... So I squeezed it all in. I have very few embellishments, again, because the photos are the focal point. I felt that too many embellies distracted from the photos.
Pages seven and eight are the final two Steeplechase pages - family and friends. And while I added a little detail to these pages, again they were quite simple. The pages were created with a speckled navy blue cardstock base, a sheet of blue and green print cut in half, and a blue and white print. I picked up on the green in the print to use as base matting.
The letters were cut from the M.S. Seasonal Art cartridge. And the final embellishments were the layered flowers, in blues and whites.
And that is how you make eight quick pages of the same event using a limited number of photos to represent the overall event. I broke the event down into phases - and scrapped two simple pages for each of the four phases.

Mister Brazil 2011 contestant - Mister Islands Delta Jacuí 2011 - Gustavo Martin Schmitt
Gustavo Martin Schmitt, model and university student of 24 years, will represent the islands of the Delta Jacuí (RS) in Mister Brazil 2011.
Natural Paved, land of the current Mister Brazil, Jonas Sulzbach, Gustavo is studying law at the University Center Univates. He speaks English fluently.
The Delta is a joint hydrographic Jacuí of several islands that are formed from the confluence of the rivers Gravesend, Bell, Fell and Jacuí. They are the waters that pass through the Delta Jacuí forming Guaíba Lake, whose waters flow to the Laguna dos Patos, and sequence, to the Atlantic Ocean. The vast majority of these islands is located in Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande do Sul

The themes are applications that are installed to change background picture on phone display, graphical interface and other appearance changes starting from just buttons and icons up to battery and network indicators.
Create a theme you need a computer and specialized software. Most often such software is freely available to phone manufacturers website. Sometimes it requires registration, but still free.
Create a theme Sony Ericsson phone, you will need program called Market Maker Pro 3G, version 3.1.260 or SE Themes Creator, version 1.80 to 3.19. SE Theme Creator is very convenient and simple. All you need is your phone model, select your images and upload Ringtones, choosing the colors of various interface elements and save the theme file.
Create a theme Nokia mobile phone you need is one of the following programs: Theme Studio 3.0 for S60, carbide 3.1.1, Nokia Series 40 Theme Studio 1.2 or S40 Theme Studio 2.2. Theme Studio 3.0 for S60 themes used for 2nd edition phones by Nokia-based S60 platform to perform. This is the Nokia 6600, 6630, 6680, 7610, 3230 and so on. With carbide 3.1.1 for your topics, 3rd edition S60 phones (Nokia 3250, Nokia N series, Nokia E-series and so on Interface this program; rather complicated when compared with SE theme editor and you probably should have some experience in graphics software to use it But still no one who time and desire, which is able to deal with it.

You're thinking about buying a new art Maybe you should think of mermaid pictures. When many of us think of mermaids we think a woman with long flowing blonde hair, bones, gradually turned into a fish tail. Sometimes they may look a little hot.
Provided most adults do not think that about mermaids on a regular basis, but there is a special cross-section of people who love them. Young girls can not get enough of the beauty and mystery of this mysterious sea people, and if you have a little girl in your life pretty much a sure thing that he will eventually fall in love all the mermaids, including the mermaid photos.
After the release of the Disney film "Little mermaid», mermaids really became very popular. Little girls were dressing as Ariel, the mermaid for Halloween and their bedrooms were adorned with blankets, toys, clothing that depicted mermaids. It seemed like a mermaid paintings can be seen everywhere.
Not all mermaid images that found their way to the bedroom walls are obtained. Many women had their time to paint pictures of mermaid or hand, or some younger people in their coloring books.
Coloring books are also filled with many things that children love. Puppy dogs kittens, flowers and mermaid paintings can be found just inside waiting for filled with beautiful colors that tickle the imagination. As things warm the heart more than walking into a house, small children and ends with all the beautiful artwork that the children carefully crafted their coloring books displayed proudly around the house. That chalk marks are usually the running out of lines drawn on the page of beautiful, original and eternal works of art creation.
Though not quite the same as the popular imagination by the princess, mermaid, of course its own unique charm. For starters, a mermaid is Awesome swimmer, and he always tries to be beautiful, no matter how much time he spent underwater photos. Have you ever seen the mermaid picture is worth a mermaid wet hair: No, I do not.
As the children grow they begin to understand some things and not real. No more waiting to do Santa Claus come down the chimney and the Easter Bunny is a reminder. Mermaid 's can be lumped into the same category. When the girls realized that the really good people mermaids of the sea, they usually lose interest very quickly.
Yet many young women will look at the total amount of mermaids and remember more innocent time when they are very similar to those beautiful girls in graceful creature. These wonderful memories can be activated every time they see the mermaid photos. And if these young women are growing in their mothers, they can sometimes feel the spark of mermaid pictures of their childhood that their little girls sign them.
